Youth Ministry Core Values
|
Worship
(examples: music, prayer, communion)
John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the
true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and
truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
Growth
(examples: Bible study, interactive teaching/ learning, discipleship groups)
Col 2:6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord,
continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him,
strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing
with thankfulness.
Action
(examples: serving in church, serving the poor, student leadership)
1 Peter 4:10 Each one should use whatever gift he has
received to serve others, faithfully administering God's
grace in its various forms.

Outreach
(examples: local outreach events, personal evangelism, world missions)
Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit
comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Relationship
(examples: shepherding groups, fellowship focused events)
John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By
this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you
love one another.
Family
Parent equipping, support and connection
God has given parents the primary responsibility of
spiritually training up their young ones; Ephesians 6:4,
Proverbs 22:6, Titus 2:4-5. Our ministry will support,
resource, equip and bring parents together to assist
them in this task. (Future examples may include: parenting
seminars, support / study groups, some family based mission
and service events, and worship experiences especially
for families.)
