Game rules

Attitude
Yours matters. Poor attitudes will result in Technical Fouls, Ejections, etc. Please work hard on a decent response when you encounter bad sportsmanship, bad calls, and bad play! Serious.

Santa Cruz Bible, Bethany University and Twin Lakes
Games are two 20 Minute halves, 3 Minute Halftime. Each team will get 2 Timeouts per half, 6 Fouls per player, 3 Minute OT if needed with 1 timeout.

Shorelife for Groups 4, 5 & 6
Games are two 24 Minute halves, everything else same as above. Exceptions, this is a smaller gym, so it is played 4 on 4. Walls are out of bounds.

Wear Your Game Shirt
Not wearing a shirt of your team color could result in a technical foul.

Game Clock
Clock stops only on timeouts and the last 2 minutes of the Second Half and OT’s unless winning team has 14 or more point lead.

Forfeit
If a team doesn’t have 4 players within 15 minutes of the game start time it counts as a loss. Site coordinator has authority to alter this as they see fit.

Technical Fouls
Don’t get one (see attitude)! If you get one for bad attitude, you have to sit 5 minutes (marked by scorekeeper) Go cool off, take a walk around the building or whatever, just cool off! If you get a 2nd Technical Foul you will be asked to leave the premises and you will also have to miss your team’s next game. You will be contacted by Todd (League Director) before playing again.

Adding Players
All additional players to a roster must be approved at least a day in advance. No changes will be allowed after Game 8.

Apology from Todd
Unfortunately in the past leagues we have not been well enough structured to enforce payment policies. I apologize for that.

Donations
If you would like to sponsor in whole or in part another player who might not be able to afford to pay $50 (Santa Cruz is a very expensive place to live), please do. We will make sure you get a receipt for tax deduction.

Scholarships
If you are in a financial difficulty and are limited on time because of work or school and do not have time to help at Santa Cruz Bible Church, please ask for a scholarship form and turn in to Reed.
