Turkey
Construction Team
June 2007
The team will be working with our missionaries in Turkey
the Murphys to work on a prayer house they are finishing. Ribbondale
will be used as a prayer center for the country for missionaries and
believers to pray 24 hours a day as well as a rest and resoite stop
for other missionaries in the area. Carpentry, tiling, roofing, and
plumbing skills are all desired for this trip but its open to all.

Operation Christmas Child India
To distribute Operation Christmas Shoeboxes
to children in slums, refugee colonies, leper
colonies, schools, etc.
This trip is a great opportunity for those who
love children. These children are the poorest of
the poor in India and come mainly from Hindu
or Muslim homes. In and around Delhi, we get
to show the love of Jesus to these children by
interacting with them one-on-one. In addition,
we will do puppet and magic shows, singing
and other fun things, all with the intention of
telling them about God’s love for them.

Kenya
July
2007
This summer the young adults of SCBC will be venturing to the heart of Africa
to Nairobi, Kenya to join with our missionaries the Mutua’s to help
in the fight against HIV/AIDs. There are currently 1.3 million people living
HIV positive in Kenya and 1.1 million orphans from HIV/AIDs within the country.
We will be working alongside the Mutua’s to reach out the local community
with education and support while being a witness of the gospel. Come join
us and see how God shows up to challenge your thoughts and your comfort to
reach out to our brothers and sisters around the world in his name. There
will be an information meeting Sunday February 25th at 12:30pm in the coffee
house to ask questions and find out more information

Mexico
Our love and commitment to the people
of Mexico continues to extend itself to this
nation through the construction of homes
and orphanages for the disadvantaged.
Working with our missionaries, George and
Stacey Palau and also, local Pastor Martin
Castro, we will assist them in the continued
transformation of the surrounding city of
Tijuana, Mexico. Trip is suitable for families,
students, singles, skilled or non-skilled
construction workers.
