Finding God
|
We are all on a spiritual journey. And on this journey, if
we look into the Bible we can learn about what God has to
say about what it means to have an ongoing relationship with
Him.
History and the Bible teaches
that Jesus Christ lived on this earth and died on a cross.
But it doesn't end there. The Bible teaches us that
Jesus was physically raised from the dead, thus proving
the claims of who He said He was. Because of Jesus' resurrection,
His followers do not honor a dead founder.
We can have a vital, personal relationship
with Him. Jesus Christ lives today and faithfully enriches
the lives of all those who trust and obey Him. Throughout
the centuries, multitudes have acknowledged the worthiness
of Jesus Christ, including many who have greatly influenced
the world. French physicist and philosopher Blaise Pascal
spoke of people's need for Jesus when he said, "There
is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man, which
only God can fill through his Son Jesus Christ."
