About Larry Doan
Larry Doan joined the SCBC staff in 2002 as Pastor of Care Ministries.
Before joining our staff, he spent 20 years as a family counselor and
social worker. He has a M.A. in Counseling from Chapman University ('81),
as well as a M.A. in Theology from Fuller Seminary ('03).
Larry and his wife Susan, were married in 1972 and have four adult children
who are serving the Lord in a variety of ministries around the world.
The Doan's have been an integral part of the SCBC "family" since 1988.
Larry has a desire to see marriages be joyful models of Christ's love; for men to
have a passion and purity for Christ; and to see coach/mentors come alongside
those in need.
Besides serving at SCBC, Larry loves to surf, ride bikes and getaway with Susan.
