About Jennifer Smith
Jennifer Smith, Director of Women's Ministries,
has a heart for women! A member of Santa Cruz Bible Church since 1987, she has
been involved in all aspects of Women's Ministries at various times: leading Bible
Studies, MCing and directing events, and teaching. As director of several events
per year, her degree in advertising and background in Interior Design have
definitely come in handy.
When asked what her favorite thing about ministry is, she enthusiastically
replies, "Helping women GROW!"
Her love for teaching God's Word is evidenced by the new emphasis on in-depth
Bible Study in Women's Ministries. An ebullient personality, she also believes
in building relationships and having fun! As a result, SCBC women are treated
to frequent celebrations and events.
Alan, her husband of 23 years, also loves to teach, as does their
daughter Lauren, a UCSC student.
