About Dave Whiting
Dave is married to Michelle, with their two
children, Megan(21) and David(18). Dave
serves as our Director of Evangelism. They
currently live in Soquel.
Dave and Michelle were married in 1981 while Dave was working in the foodservice
industry in the Monterey Peninsula. Dave spent twenty plus years in the
foodservice industry before going to work in the high tech arena for a few years.
Through this time he began to get involved in outreach ministry through Santa
Cruz Bible Church (SCBC) and was asked to join the staff at SCBC.
For activities he loves to snow ski (not board) and play basketball for exercise
and long as his body will allow him to.
He has a passion for reaching the community for Christ especially in the area of
where people spend a majority of their time, their workplace.

Dave has lived in the Santa Cruz area his whole life and both he and Michelle
are excited about having an ongoing impact in Santa Cruz County.
