Beth Moore "Light" Bible Studies:
Small groups gather at SCBC to ellowship,
pray and study the Word via workbooks
and Beth Moore's inspiring teaching videos.
Lessons stretch over two weeks with 1-1/2
hours of homework per week. Offered
at both WPAM and WPPM (see above),
we will be studying Isaiah 43 in "Believing
Gods" and "experiencing a fresh explosion
of faith".. $18 Book fee. Homework--
2 hours per week.
Verse by Verse:
SCBC's own Arlene Passanisi, Pam Broesamle,
Melody Nicholson and Alisa Davies will be
teaching through 2nd Corinthians, In addition
to weekly "talks", participants will be
taught how to do an easy Bible Study Method
and how to look up words in a Strong's
Concordance. Small group discussion, fellowship, prayer
and accountability will be involved! $20
book fee. Homework-- 2hours per week
PATH Discipleship Groups:
These are groups that meet for a year
minimum and establish strong relationships
through Bible study, prayer and accountability.
Groups meet thursday mornings and other
days as well. Homework-- 1.5 hours per
week
"Proverbs" by Navigators:
Basic instruction on righteous living in Christ. Come be encouraged by betty
Bouzeos in this workbook study with small groups and prayer. Homework-- 1.5
hours per week
Satellite Groups:
These groups meet in homes and on campus
at night and during the day at many different
times to accommodate various schdules.
Currently, there are going to be three
Beth Moore Satellite studies ongoing
this year. One in Scotts Valley on Thursday
nights studying "Daniel", one in West
Santa Cruz studying "Believing God" on
Wednesday nights. The third will be on
SCBC campus Wednesday days from 2:30
to 4:30 studying "Living Beyond Yourself"
