Worship Gathering
Women's Ministry at Santa Cruz Bible Church offers a rich
environment for women to grow in Christ. Below are some of the
opportunities we have for you to grow in God's Word, meet
new women and enjoy God's journey for you as a woman.

Fall/Spring Bible Studies
WPAM Studies: Thursdays 9:30-11:30AM

All studies have childcare provided by reservation only
Beth Moore "Light" Bible Studies:
Small groups gather at SCBC to study the Word via workbooks
and Beth Moore's inspiring teaching videos. Lessons stretch
over two weeks with 1-1/ hours of homework per week. Offered
at both WPAM and WPPM (see above), we will be studying the
gospels in "Jesus the One and Only"
Precept Upon Precept Bible Studies:
Small groups study various books of the Bible and various
topical studies. These are in-depth studies requiring 3-6
hours of homework per week. Offered at WPAM only, we'll be
studying "1 John".
February 9th-May 4th. Sign up in WC10 Thursdays 9:30-11:30am.
$20 Childcare available.
NBS Beginner/Seeker Studies:
This study is designed for those who wish to explore
Christianity for the first time. STudying books of the
Bible in a group format, these groups meet on Thursday
mornings as well as in homes on different days during the week.
Christian Spiritual Mentoring for Women
Our Women's mentoring ministry provides an opportunity to walk
and grow through life's experiences with the encouragement of
another woman. The Bible talks about the need for this type of
relationship in Titus 2:3-5. In this world of many choices and
personalities, there is a great need for a friend that will walk
beside us, listen to us and help us think Biblically through
life's many situations and stages.

Prayer Warriors Ministry
A group of dedicated women who love to pray for others.
Come and pray with them on the last Monday of every month
in AC10 from 10:30-noon. Call Diane at 438-3765 for more
information.
Events and Activities
Need spiritual encouragement? Need refreshment? Need a break from the ordinary?Come to
SpiritSpa--a one-day mini-retreat for women! Focusing on emotional, mental,spiritual
and physical health, this event features speaker Kerri Kenyon . Formerly of the John
Maxwell organization, Kerri currently speaks nationwide and teaches classes for Western
Seminary in Oregon and California. Also featured at the event will be pampering spa
treatments, breakfast and lunch, small group discussion and exciting elective classes
on everything from "Prayer Walking" to "Cooking Fresh". May 12th at SCBC, 8AM-5PM, $20

Women, dressed in pajamas, have a blast watching funny acts,
skits, playing games like Bunko, watching movies and eating lots of
chocolate! Light, fun, for all ages, PJ's and Chocolate is a
community outreach event and is a great way to introduce
unchurched women to SCBC. Pre-registration required for
childcare by February 22! NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR.

These fabulous brunches are very similar to the Men's
Breakfast. An outreach event, these brunches will combine
great food, a fantastic speaker, a stirring testimony, good
music and a warm atmosphere. A definite must for those wishing
to introduce friends to Christianity. Tickets are $7, available
starting October 28, 2006 in the WC after services.
